The American Association of Spinal Cord Injury Nurses (AASCIN) will report on research findings and share important information regarding the nurse’s role in advancing health care for patients with SCI/D. The American Association of Spinal Cord Injury Psychologists and Social Workers (AASCIPSW) will target the latest standards in health care, treatment breakthroughs, national health care policies, and regulations impacting the lives of people with SCI/D, as well as technologies and pharmaceuticals to improve psychosocial care. American Paraplegia Society (APS) professionals will also convene to report on state-of-the-art treatment techniques, disseminate information about scientific and technological advancements, and discuss developments in research. Call for Papers & Posters
AASCIN, AASCIPSW and APS have also issued their 2007 Call for Papers and Posters for prospective conference faculty. Abstracts and all other supporting material must be submitted electronically by Friday, January 5, 2007. Presenters are not required to be members of each respective Association in order to submit an abstract for consideration.
