Dine at Zesty’s in Manayunk to Help Paralyzed Americans
Jackson Heights, NY–Zesty’s, a popular Manayunk restaurant serving meticulously prepared Mediterranean cuisine since 1993, will host a series of fundraisers to benefit the United Spinal Association starting on Saturday, April 19th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Tom Konidaris and Eric Papougenis stated that they are hosting these events to support United Spinal Association’s mission on behalf of people paralyzed by spinal cord injury.
The public is invited to dine at Zesty’s, located on the banks of the Schuylkill at 4382 Main Street in Manayunk, from a seafood bar featuring clams, oysters and crab claws. View Zesty’s entire menu and get travel directions online at www.zestys.com.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit United Spinal Association, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals with spinal cord injuries and disorders like multiple sclerosis, spina bifida, post-polio, and ALS.
Paul J. Tobin, United Spinal Association’s President, added, “on behalf of all of our members, we want to thank the Konidaris and Papougenis families for helping our organization to fulfill its mission. We will use these funds to help persons with spinal cord injuries and disorders overcome their disabilities and improve their quality of life.”
Zesty’s in Manayunk will also sponsor fundraisers to benefit the United Spinal Association on the succeeding three Friday evenings—April 25, May 2, and May 9—also from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
