United Spinal Association’s Fourth Consecutive Kids Sports Spectacular
Philadelphia, PA–– Children with disabilities between the ages of 4 and 21 can now register for the 4th annual Kids Sports Spectacular at Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, PA, on Saturday, August 16th from 10 am to 3 pm.
This free event is made possible by grants from Comcast-Spectacor, Bayada Nurses and , CVS Caremark.
The Kids Sports Spectacular features instruction on wheelchair tennis, softball, basketball, power soccer and hand cycling. A free lunch for all participants is provided by Aramark.
“This is a terrific opportunity for children with disabilities and their families to gather and share in fun and entertaining experiences,” said Global Spectrum Chief Operating Officer John Page. “In addition, it’s a very educational experience for us on the arena-operating side as these types of events help us further learn how to better service the disability community.”

This year’s event will feature keynote remarks from International Motivational speaker, Scott Chesney and US Paralympian, Laura Schwanger, both members of United Spinal Association.
