It’s getting close to the New York 2010 Independence Expo, and we intend to show you more than ever before this year.
New raffle prizes are still being added to the already bulging list and more exhibitors are signing up to show you their life and lifestyle enhancing products and services. Here are just a few of the must see exhibits that were recently added:
The ultra exciting Conquest wheelchair accessible motorcycle will be on display and waiting to get you revved up. The Bussani Mobility Team will be on hand to answer your questions and give you a guided tour of this innovative and exciting product.
The Open Arms educational campaign will be at the Expo to bring you up to speed on upper extremity spasticity. United Spinal Association has partnered with BOTOX® maker Allergan, Inc. and actor Henry Winkler, to educate the public on the low awareness and under-diagnosis of upper limb spasticity.
While we are on the subject of “Arms”- The iArm, a state-of-the-art robotic manipulator arm designed to compensate for lost arm and hand function is an exhibit that is certainly worth a look for those who have diminished or lost use of upper extremities.
There are lots more interesting and exciting exhibits to see at the NY 2010 Independence Expo. From products to community services to innovative treatments, “We’ll show you…” at the Independence Expo.
Next time out we’ll show you some of the mind expanding and lifestyle enhancing topics that will be covered in the Independence Expo Consumer Workshops sessions. Take a sneak peek- “Universal Design Can Be Chic!”, “Sailing the Seven Seas”, “Money Matters”, “I’ve Got Work to Do!”.
OK, that’s enough peeking. I’ll fill you in on the great Independence Expo workshops next time out.
You can visit the Independence Expo Website for information, updates, and free registration.
See you at the Independence Expo!
