Affiliate Service Provider Program

United Spinal’s Affiliate Service Provider offers businesses who serve the disability community an opportunity to generate leads, traffic, and sales.

The program also enables consumers, caregivers, and professionals to discover valuable disability-related products or services, both regionally and nationally.

The Affiliate Service Provider Program (http://providers.spinalcord.org), consists of an online directory offering a full spectrum of clinical care, products and services, with an emphasis on SCI/D.

“Convenient access to reputable support is something we know our members really want and that the larger disability community will welcome,” said Megan Lee, national sales manager at United Spinal Association.

“We developed the Affiliate Service Provider program to ensure wheelchair users and other consumers living with spinal cord injuries and disorders can take advantage of the very best products and services – discoverable all in one place,” added Lee.

The Affiliate Service Provider program directory is housed on United Spinal’s SCI Resource Center website, which has thousands of unique visitors per month. Consumers accessing the directory can search listings by state, keyword, and category.

“We are confident that linking the directory to our Resource Center website, which is heavily trafficked by disability consumers and individuals seeking timely support, will only add to the program’s success,” said Lee.

For an annual fee of $250 to join the Affiliate Service Provider Program, businesses can reach thousands of individuals living with spinal cord injuries and disorders (SCI/D) eager to learn more about products and services that will optimize their health, independence and quality of life.

United Spinal’s Affiliate Service Provider Program is available to businesses that specialize in:

  • vehicle & hand controls
  • therapeutic & bathroom equipment
  • urological supplies
  • scooters
  • wheelchairs
  • ramps
  • medical & dental healthcare services

and many other disability-related products and services.

Spinal Cord Injury

Spinal cord injury can result in paralysis of the muscles used for breathing; paralysis and/or loss of feeling in all or some of the trunk, arms, and legs; weakness; numbness; loss of bowel and bladder control; and numerous secondary conditions including respiratory problems, pressure sores, and sometimes fatal spikes in blood pressure. Approximately 12,000 new spinal cord injuries occur in the U.S. each year. A majority of injuries occur from motor vehicle accidents, falls, work-related accidents, sports injuries, and penetrations such as stab or gunshot wounds.
