Description

Established in 1997, Amysystems was very proud to have introduced a new division of premium power wheelchairs in 2011. We have recently launched a new second generation of the Alltrack Series. The new series offers the same outstanding quality and balanced performance throughout its range, but benefits from some lighter components and a sleeker look. Like our traditional power seating division, each component has been designed, engineered, produced and distributed from our local facility leaving no room for discrepancies on the final product. We took great care to ensure that this is not just another power wheelchair but a unique product that is a cut above the rest and of the highest quality with lower service costs.

Amysystems considers all aspects in the development of a product as we work in close partnership with the best rehab therapists, seating technicians, users, dealers, sales associates and road technicians. The Alltrack Series is a higher quality power wheelchair platform offering an innovative core technology that enhances stability, maneuverability and comfort for the user like no other power wheelchair has done before. It’s available in multiple configurations, all with the outstanding (GC3) 6-wheel interactive suspension and additional seat suspension, driving performance and style to another level.

Spinal Cord Injury

Spinal cord injury can result in paralysis of the muscles used for breathing; paralysis and/or loss of feeling in all or some of the trunk, arms, and legs; weakness; numbness; loss of bowel and bladder control; and numerous secondary conditions including respiratory problems, pressure sores, and sometimes fatal spikes in blood pressure. Approximately 12,000 new spinal cord injuries occur in the U.S. each year. A majority of injuries occur from motor vehicle accidents, falls, work-related accidents, sports injuries, and penetrations such as stab or gunshot wounds.

Our Membership Community

Our membership community provides a lifeline for many individuals that are focused on regaining their independence and improving their quality of life––whether they are leaving rehab after sustaining a spinal cord injury, learning to live with symptoms of a spinal cord disorder, or have spent years of frustration coping with disability. We provide members guidance and resources on a variety of topics they are passionate about, such as employment, affordable housing, transportation, health care, home- and community-based independent living, education, peer support, and leisure and recreation.
