Home Access Professionals in a nationwide team of home accessibility experts that provide project management services and solutions for home modifications and accessibility equipment for those with limited mobility.

We work with healthcare payers as well as healthcare professionals to define and implement comprehensive, cost-effective solutions that help those with limited mobility remain safe and independent in their own homes.

Home Access Professionals provides home modifications and equipment installations for injured workers, the aging population, and others living with disabilities across the United States. Our client-centric approach to problem solving helps remove barriers within the home, restore the individual’s quality of life, and ensure a safe home environment now and into the future.

Home Evaluation
During a free home evaluation from Home Access Professionals, we carefully assess the entire home and make suggestions to the insurance carrier or payer for the equipment and modifications that will most greatly impact the patient’s independence and quality of life. Home accessibility evaluations are performed by licensed professionals with credentials and training including USC Executive Certificate in Home Modification program, Certified Environmental Access Consultants (CEAP), Certified Living In Place Professional Program (CLIPP), and Certified Aging in Place Professionals (CAPS). These are experts with a deep understanding of the needs of injured, disabled, and aging clients.

Access Equipment Installation
Access equipment can mean the difference between being able to live at home and having to stay in an assisted living facility. Home Access Professionals has a nationwide network of experienced, credentialed providers who can install all approved access equipment and make any home a safe place.

Home Modifications
Most homes have not been built with the needs of the disabled and aging populations in mind. Fortunately, there are many home modifications that can allow these individuals to remain safe and independent in their own homes.

Project Management
Home modifications and accessibility equipment installations can be complex. Home Access Professionals’ project management services streamline the process, making communication simple and straightforward from start to finish. For every project we undertake, we assign a dedicated project manager to act as a single point of contact for all needs. This simplifies the process, keeps costs controlled, and helps to keep the project on an efficient timetable.

Spinal Cord Injury

Spinal cord injury can result in paralysis of the muscles used for breathing; paralysis and/or loss of feeling in all or some of the trunk, arms, and legs; weakness; numbness; loss of bowel and bladder control; and numerous secondary conditions including respiratory problems, pressure sores, and sometimes fatal spikes in blood pressure. Approximately 12,000 new spinal cord injuries occur in the U.S. each year. A majority of injuries occur from motor vehicle accidents, falls, work-related accidents, sports injuries, and penetrations such as stab or gunshot wounds.

Our Membership Community

Our membership community provides a lifeline for many individuals that are focused on regaining their independence and improving their quality of life––whether they are leaving rehab after sustaining a spinal cord injury, learning to live with symptoms of a spinal cord disorder, or have spent years of frustration coping with disability. We provide members guidance and resources on a variety of topics they are passionate about, such as employment, affordable housing, transportation, health care, home- and community-based independent living, education, peer support, and leisure and recreation.
