2010 From Within Award

The Greater NYC Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the recipient of the first annual "From Within" Award. This honor is given to an agency, individual or organization that is committed to improving the lives, health and well-being of women living with disabilities.

The Greater NYC Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is being recognized for their efforts in improving breast health and information for women with disabilities by increasing the number of accessible breast exam sites in NYC and for educating women with disabilities about the importance of getting annual mammograms.
