Your corporation, group, or organization can make the dreams of kids with disabilities a reality by supporting the 2010 Kids Sports Spectacular. Try one or all of these Kids Sports Spectacular fundraising activities. You’ll have fun and you will know that you are giving a wonderful gift of joy to many children.

Corporate or Community organizations that conduct a KSS Fundraising activity will be acknowledged with their Name, logo & link on the United Spinal Association website, included on Event Program Signage, receive a special acknowledgment announcement during the event and be listed as a supporter in the Kids Sports Spectacular edition of ACTION, United Spinal Association’s award winning magazine.

Here Are Some Ideas

“Sports Fan Day!”
Charge $5 per employee/ event participant that wears a sports item to work or your special event (i.e. Sports Cap; Sports Jersey; Sports theme T-Shirt, etc). Proceeds sent to United Spinal Association’s Kids Sports Spectacular.

“Sports Tournament”
Set-up a sports tournament for fun (i.e. Softball; Golf; Miniature Golf; Basketball; Bingo)! The entry fee is donated to United Spinal Association’s Kids Sports Spectacular.

“Put Me in Coach!”
Ask employees/ members of your community group to bring in one of their childhood sports related photos. Then, create a display and charge people to guess ($1; $2 or $5). Give the winner a donated prize. The collected Charge Fee is donated to United Spinal Association’s Kids Sports Spectacular.

“Coach of the Year”
Become a Kids Sports Spectacular “Coach of the Year” by making an annual donation of $100 to United Spinal Association’s Kids Sports Spectacular. As a KSS Coach, your name will be placed in our KSS Hall of Fame, which will be posted on our website. Your name will also be announced at the KSS Luncheon. You’ll also receive a special ‘Coach of the Year’ certificate and a commemorative KSS T-Shirt.

“Take Me Out to the Ballgame” Lunch!
Serve sports related food (i.e. hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn) at your cafeteria or during your organization’s special event. Donate a portion of the day’s proceeds to United Spinal Association’s Kids Sports Spectacular.

We will send you a United Spinal Information Kit as well as photos/ images of past KSS participants to display at your event.
