The Reviews Are In
Congratulations on the new Action magazine. This issue was sure packed with lots of great articles for everyone.
My only negative comment is that the Members Profile pieces were hard to read with light background and light type. A stronger contrast would make for easier reading.
Again, GREAT job! Looking forward to future issues.

Editor’s note: Thank you, Joe! We have taken your comment to heart. Please continue to let us know how we’re doing.
Congratulations! I just read the current issue of Action cover to cover. The format, style, color and subjects are all positive and interesting.
Congratulations to all.

Winter Sports Issue
Best magazine ever (February 2006): content, layout, coverage, and overall display, and not because it’s winter sports. I still read the magazine from cover to cover. This was the best in the 12 years I’ve been a member.

Easy Access

I am just reading the February 2006 edition of Action and got to page 8 (“InterAction”). I have made a modification to my home that may work for others in wheelchairs.
I do have a ramp up to my front door and used that for over 20 years as my way into the house. Then, over time, my arms began to wear out and it became harder and harder to push up the ramp. Then my dad, (now deceased) was able to locate a wheelchair lift used in an old school bus. He bought the lift from the salvage yard and with minor electrical modifications set it up on my carport entrance (it has 3 steps). Now I can go up and down the lift on the carport with no problem.
Just thought I’d share this with you. Thanks for the info provided in your magazine.

[...] Slowly but surely, readers have begun to express themselves on Action. Considering the old publishing adage that readers don’t usually write unless they’re angry, I am taking the overwhelmingly positive response we’ve received so far to be a very good sign. You can see some of the “reviews†we received in our Letters to the Editor compilation. [...]
