Action writer Amy Meisner Threet sends us notice of a class she and Marla DeFex are teaching for people who use wheelchairs and are interested in wheelchair dance and/or physical and mental fitness. Both teachers are experienced performers in dance, both in and out of wheelchairs:
What: A class merging mind and body to support you on your path to overall wellbeing. We invite you to experience our active and multi-disciplinary approach that combines fitness and movement with healing therapies in a modern, tranquil setting. The point of this class is to teach body movement to people who would like to perform wheelchair dancing/dancing on stage…or just for fun!
When: Tuesdays, 11-1 p.m.
