Aiding Hurricane Victims With A Spinal Cord Injury Or Disease

Help Us Get The Word Out!

Wheelchair users and other people with disabilities are among the most vulnerable from severe weather and natural disaster events such as the recent hurricanes and floods in Florida, Houston, Puerto Rico, and USVI.

A generous grant from the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation has allowed United Spinal to increase its targeted outreach to the Spinal Cord Injury and Disorder (SCI/D) community in hurricane affected areas by offering micro grants and one-on-one advice and guidance.
