They describe a system that has seen disparities among the states for decades, and as recently as two years ago ranked Indiana 50th among the states in average annual benefits paid to disabled veterans.

This is a fact. Indiana leadership has not shown the respect and recognition for Veterans, or the Indiana Army National Guard Members as should be. The last benefit I remember was the Hunting and fishing License cost. It was lowered for Disabled Veterans not sure about other Vet’s. The State has gouged the Property Tax payers to the point of out of site increase. How much went to Veterans or Guard Members?
This is to include both parties DEM and GOP. Checkout Mr Steve Buyer has he helped? I don’t know someone tell me.

The veterans serve for the country and many sacrifice their life for the same. When they return home they are not paid well and recognised. We are enjoying a happy life at the cost of their life. They must be paid well and given better recognition
